I’m back on the air after several weeks of absence… this time for good reasons, as opposed to just being sick. I was also very excited this week to play the new NIN album for the first time on air. As I mentioned on the show, you can download the first of their new 4-volume set on their official website. I was able to keep this show running relatively smoothly despite a hail of technical problems, including but not limited to: Non-functioning DJ software, slow file transfers over the Station network, and a false alarm for a missing laptop power adapter. That’s one hell of a confidence booster, if nothing else. This week features a whole mess of VG music and the return of the science & tech news update. Sweet deal! As a brief addendum, my buddy and I have started recording a Video Games Podcast via Skype which should begin airing in a week or so. I don’t expect this small side-project to be as consistent as Geek Mixtape but regardless, it’s still another thing to look forward to. Peace out for now.

We’ve got more special segments than you can shake a stick at this week …and by that I mean two. But they are both very much full of awesome. First, an exclusive interview with Hiro from POLYSICS, a Japanese punk band that is so incredibly bizarre, I’d be doing this show a disservice by *not* interviewing them. Secondly, we have the triumphant return of last weeks Technology News segment. I’m debating whether or not to make this a weekly thing since I usually do the segment every week anyway for Fredonia Radio’s High Noon Friday. Any feedback on this matter would be appreciated. Additionally, I assure you that the new website is coming (relatively) soon. These past few weeks have been absolute hell and spare time has been sparse to say the least. Here’s hoping I survive midterms…
